The knitted bikes are so cute!
Oh my gosh!! Knitted tricycles??
They've knitted little suits for the cycles, so amazing ! I'll have to write down the website shared on cards next to time I stroll past, to share it online!
Hi Tanya,My name's Leah, and I'm a student at Adelaide University. I'm currently at the tail end of my Honours course with the Anthropology department. My thesis is examining the ways women are using traditional feminine handicrafts as a way of constructing and reinforcing their identities. This brings me to the reason I am writing to you. I was wondering if you would mind me using in my thesis one or two of the photos that you posted to your blog of the knitted bikes that were placed along Rundle Street earlier this year? I'd of course make sure that you are fully credited in my thesis as the photographer of the images. The images would be used strictly to illustrate a couple of paragraphs in my thesis, and I wouldn't be profiting financially from their use. From what I understand, the university requires me to provide them with three copies of the thesis for marking etc, one of which remains with the Anthropology Department afterwards, as an example for future students.Anyway, if you'd like any more information about my thesis, what I'd like to use your images for (pending your permission, of course) or anything else, please don't hesitate to ask.I hope to hear from you soon.Kind Regards,Leah
Hi Leah,Congrats on finalising your thesis- If you could please send me an email to tanyajanebrain[at]gmail[dot]com I'd love to get in contact!Cheers,Tanya
